High Temperature, Dry Running/Lubricant Free, Pocketed Bushings

Cast bronze bushings with embedded graphite pockets are now available from FTL Technology. The base metal withstands high loads and the solid graphite pockets provide lubrication. The bushings exhibit excellent performance without external lubrication at both elevated and sub zero temperatures. The bushings are suitable for reciprocating, oscillating, intermittent and slow speed rotational movement where a hydrodynamic oil film is impossible to form. Anti corrosion characteristics are good, and chemical resistance is high.

Applications
This bushing can be utilised in dry conditions, high temperatures, high loadings, corrosive environments, water or other chemical environments when no oil can be introduced. Currently is widely used in continuous casting machines, steel rollers in metallurgical industry, mineral mining machines, ships, turbo generators, hydraulic turbines and injection moulding machines..
