Precision Mouldings - New product launch

FTL Technology offers specialist precision mouldings in a wide range of high performance elastomers, including organic and inorganic elastomers such as silicone, fluorosilicone and liquid silicone. Additionally Rubber to metal combinations, such as vibration controls are available.

Competitive piece price and tooling are the norm. FTL Technology has the expertise to provide the most cost effective solutions without compromising performance.

Applications vary from standard and non-standard O-rings operating in extreme temperatures and chemically aggressive environments, to bespoke custom-designed technical mouldings in high specification materials.

The complete product range includes sealing devices such as o-rings, u-cups, hydraulic and pneumatic seals, custom moulded products such as grommets, bumpers, isolators, bushings, and tool grips.

A variety of elastomeric materials are available, including nitrile (NBR,) hydrogenated nitrile (HNBR), carboxylated nitrile (XNBR), Viton (FKM,) ethylene propylene(EPDM), silicone (MQ), fluorosilicone (FVMQ), neoprene (CR), natural rubber (NR), styrene butadiene rubber (SBR). Moulding methods include injection, vacuum and compression.

We manufacture custom parts and components to customer designs. Problem solving is at the centre of our culture, providing customers with optimal design solutions. Using the latest elastomer materials and manufacturing techniques, we can produce composite parts, including metal and PTFE bonding and fabric reinforcements.

In developing custom parts we work closely with our customers to develop solutions that last longer, require less maintenance and deliver the lowest cost of ownership.

FTL Technology has the ability to accept electronic CAD drawings using the latest Autodesk Inventor software, (components are designed in 3D CAD) as well as using Finite Element Analysis modelling to explore scenario planning, ensuring the final component design is right first time.

FTL Technology is design certified to ISO 9001:2000; our team of designers interpret customer requirements and translate these into recommendations and custom proposals.

In conclusion FTL Technology offers a comprehensive design and development service for seals, custom moulded elastomers and bonded components.
