FTL Technology Announces Tin Based Babbit Materials

FTL Technology is pleased to announce a new Tin Based Babbitt GRAPHALLOY material for bearing applications to 350°F. After several years of testing we have developed a tin based babbitt material that performs as well as or better than our traditional babbitt grades.

Today's concerns with health and environmental conditions encourage us to provide grades that can be used in potable water, other food applications as well as other traditional low temperature applications. Our Tin Based Babbitt is available in grades that are FDA accepted and even have an NSF approval.

Advantages that Tin Based Babbitt offers:

• Does not melt or cold flow
