3D CAD Capability

FTL Technology continues to develop its 3D CAD capability with the addition of an extra seat and extra engineering manpower.

More and more customers are asking for complete sealing, bearing and engineered solutions rather than just components. If you have a sealing or bearing related problem please contact us, and we can analyse the situation and provide you with a complete engineered solution.

Bearing Solutions

Sliding element bearings are available in many materials from FTL Technology. These range from filled PTFE's, filled polyamides and polyacetals, and reinforced polyesters.

Additionally we have the Glycodur® range of plain wrapped bearings coated in either PTFE or polyacetal. Beyond these non-metallic coated bearings, FTL Technology can also provide lubricated sintered bronze bearings for rotating applications, and turned bronze bearings for both reciprocation and rotational requirements.

The range is completed by the high temperature combination of Graphalloy® sliding element bearings and compound (rotating element) bearings, filled with carbon and PTFE to eliminate the need for lubrication.

Website Improvements

Many of the new engineered developments are detailed on the latest website developments due to be released on the internet at the beginning of May. These include work carried out on PF Mill cylinders, the development of a new seal for Central Tyre Inflation, additional work on the Meco continuous process seal and the latest improvements on the CMSS pipeline pigs.
