Meridian Rotary Seals Type 0198 are rotary seals of traditional design with a fabric/elastomer outer diameter. Type 0198 is delivered with a rectangular profile back. Type 0200 is delivered with a circumferential groove plus radial ports to enable two such seals to be fitted back to back, thereby creating a cavity for holding additional grease lubrication.
Typical applications for type 0198 rotary seals are roll neck bearing seals, stern tube seals for marine applications, crushing plant, large gearboxes, tunnelling machines and most large diameter journal sealing applications.
